Welcome to Can Moneta

A house with history located in Sobrestany, a small Empordà hamlet already documented in medieval parchments, surrounded by nature and tranquility just steps from the Montgrí Natural Park, the Medes Islands and the Baix Ter, and only a short walk from the beaches and coves of L’Escala and Montgó.

Can Moneta was the family home of Ferran, the current co-owner. Over time, the house was left uninhabited and on the verge of ruin. Then Ferran and Àngela decided to bring it back to life. They designed the renovation of the spaces, planned and carried out the installations, interior design and landscaping. Deliberately, they have combined traditional Empordà architecture with modern facilities and comforts.

Can Moneta is the result of doing things with time,

with care, with respect for the past and with the desire to do things properly, using noble, local and high-quality materials down to the very last detail. Every corner has been designed to make you feel good from the very first moment, with natural light, warm textures, comfort and a constant sense of calm and relaxation.
